One of comedy’s fastest rising stars (and one of the coolest dudes on the planet) is coming to Madison this fall.
Hannibal Buress, of Broad City and The Eric Andre Show, will be playing the Orpheum on Sept. 20, it was announced this morning.
The laconic Buress is an almost supernaturally gifted comic, turning long and rambling stories about nothing into jokes that are sometimes profound and always hilarious. Buress co-stars in the upcoming movie Tag, alongside Jon Hamm, Jake Johnson and Jeremy Renner’s CGI arms. Buress last appeared in Madison at the Barrymore Theatre in 2014.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m, with a pre-sale on Wednesday and Thursday. Before you leave the house, remember: phone, keys, wallet. (Well, maybe not phone — cameras, recording devices and phones will be locked in Yondr pouches at this show.)
