Milwaukee Record says it best: Kwik Trip isn’t just a convenience store. It’s a way of life.
Wisconsin’s love for our favorite chain is deep and abiding. This meme really hits the nail on the head; I also make Lady Gaga eyes when I pull into one of their stores. And now folks can show their affection in a more fitting way: by drinking it.
Madison-based brewery Karben4 is canning “Glazer Bean,” a chocolate coffee stout now available at Kwik Trip locations. It features elements of their signature Karuba Coffee and Glazer doughnuts. Though as the Beer Baron notes, the name isn’t entirely accurate: Glazer Bean actually draws from Dunker, the chocolate cake doughnut. So it’s sort of like a mocha latte, albeit one with a 5% ABV.
Earlier this month, Kwik Trip began cryptically teasing Twitter followers with the concept of their own beer:

Kwik Trip approached Karben4 cofounders Ryan and Zak Koga over the summer about collaborating on their first-ever brew, so this pleasant surprise is months in the making. Ryan Koga describes it as “not a dessert beer or a pastry stout,” but something brighter. However you want to label it, it sounds delicious.Wisconsin, hold my beer. pic.twitter.com/xC6m2AS3xk

To quote a more well-known meme, shut up and take my money.
