2017 has come with a slew of new entertainment, including another round of The Bachelorette — its 13th, to be exact. The season premiered May 22, when an impressive number of men began an epic battle to stand out among themselves as they met their “future wife,” Dallas lawyer Rachel Lindsay.
Included in this group of hopefuls was a dude in a penguin suit, a self-proclaimed tickle monster and a “waboom” (whatever the hell that is). While these exuberant men might have briefly drew attention away from the other attorneys, singers and physicians, they couldn’t distract from a certain business owner in the bunch.
Peter Kraus, already coined a “standout suitor” after just two episodes, hails from Madison. The ex-model is the proud owner of WORTH, a personal training company. His business began after battles with an eating disorder that stemmed from the pursuit of his modeling career and the ambition to turn his health around.
The tattooed, gap-toothed sweetie has apparently already made quite the impression on Rachel. In last night’s second episode, he landed the season’s first one-on-one date — though it was actually a two-on-one with her dog, Copper. As if Peter wasn’t cute enough, it turns out he’s amazing with dogs, too. They hopped on a plane and flew to Palm Springs for a pool party with other dogs at “Dog Fest.”The night continued with a candle-lit dinner where they talked about their coincidental involvement with relationship therapy. Rachel expressed surprise at their similar experiences. She also told him she felt drawn to his energy and that he exceeded her expectations on their first date.
As anyone could predict, Rachel gave Peter a rose at this moment, and they shared a romantic kiss. The night ended with a quick walk to look at the stars while unexpected fireworks rained through the sky. And you guessed it: more kissing ensued.“I am such a smitten kitten over Peter,” Rachel said. Well, she isn’t the only one. Madison is rooting for you, Peter!
