Our supreme social overlord, Mark Zuckerberg, is in Madison today. He’s been on the road for about a week now, regaling his followers with tales of meeting workers at a Ford plant outside of Detroit, Muslim students in Dearborn, and dropping in on a completely unsuspecting family in Ohio. It’s all part of his New Year’s resolution to meet and connect with people in all 50 states. You know, like Facebook, but in real life.

Zuckerberg’s post on Facebook today is a plea for help: to find the best bratwurst in Madison. We’re obliged to offer assistance to this most noble of causes, so we have set forth our four top brat stops in Madison in a Twitter poll (see below). The contenders: OSS, State Street Brats, the Memorial Union Terrace and the Old Fashioned.

OSS is the darkhorse newcomer to the group, offering newfangled sausages in decidedly hipster packages. State Street Brats has its “famous” red brat going for it, and I have to say that smoked brats with lots of char have great appeal. The Memorial Union Terrace will pull at the heartstrings of every UW alum and student, and perhaps Zuck is visiting campus anyway. The Old Fashioned offers the “up north” experience without actually leaving the square.

So where should Zuckerberg go? Vote via Twitter, because Facebook doesn’t allow Pages to post polls. Thanks, dude.
