If you’re a fan of ’90s alt rock, you’re in luck: cultishly beloved supergroup A Perfect Circle will roll through Madison on their upcoming tour.
It was announced this morning that the band will play Alliant Energy Center’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, Nov. 10 in support of this year’s Eat the Elephant, their first album since reuniting in 2010. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 22 at 10 a.m.
Formed in 1999 by Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel, A Perfect Circle has blended alternative metal and experimentalism in a way that few bands to take influence from them have been able to replicate, thanks in no small part to Keenan’s notorious perfectionism.
Guitarist James Iha will be very busy this year, as he’s set to also embark on a lengthy tour with his other legendary band, Smashing Pumpkins.
